There are many discussions about what's next for the web specifically, and information technology in general. For example, Tim Berners-Lee's Giant Global Graph. Another perspective is "Personal Computing". Personal computing is all about how I can mamage information that is personally relevant to me. If we look from this perspective, we'll find we really cannot DO too much yet. Certainly, personal computer is a great tool for personal computing. But perosonal computer is definately not equal to personal computing. Internet, web, mobile phone and other electronic devices clearly makes the personal computer as only a physical level implementation. Personal computing is a logical concept and we need to see how this concept to be implemented physically.
This blog will monitor the progress in this space and also show my personal thinking.
